On Saturday the 19th of October some of our educators and coordinators attended a 1.5 hour workshop delivered by Reverse Garbage. The following topics were explored:

- Household items that can/cannot be recycled.

- Unpacked the 5 R's of recycling. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repair, Refuse.

- How to incorporate loose parts play in FDC settings.

- A practical session using loose parts to construct a play item, game or object.

Of course at the end there was some time for shopping.
