Sapna

Sapna has been working in the Early Childhood Industry for nearly 10 years and during this time has completed her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Sapna has a current First Aid Qualification as well as Child Protection training.

"I believe that early childhood 0 to 5 years is a foundation age for Children growth. I believe in providing Nurturing care to children so they feel safe, supported and loved and gain confidence to express themselves freely. I aim to provide an environment where they can create, imagine, be joyful, and have fun!"

Kristen

Location: Camden South

Kristen has been working in the childcare (Long Day Care) industry for 3 years now and has decided to open her own Family Day Care service with My Home Your Home Family Day Care.

Pratima

Location: Eschol Park

Pratima has been in the childcare industry for over 13 years. During this time she has worked in India in Primary schools teaching Maths and working as a Coordinator. After moving to Australia Pratima completed her Diploma so that she could continue to follow her passion, working with children. 

"I strongly believe that each child is an individual with unique personalities and learning styles, therefore, as an educator, it is my responsibility to provide the best learning environment for the children to allow them to learn and grow holistically. I also believe that before instilling educational or life skills, it is crucial to building children’s self-esteem and confidence.

Lastly, I truly believe that children at a young age are as impressionable like potter’s clay and we educators are the potter’s who play a vital role in moulding children in their early years to prepare them for a bright future."

Pratima is located in Eschol Park: Close to Raby, St Andrews and Eagle Vale.

Taylor

Location: Gledswood Hills

Diploma in Children's Services (Currently Studying a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education)

Taylor holds her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and is studying towards her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care. Taylor also hold her First aid Certificate and current working with Children's Check.

I believe creating positive wellbeing and a strong sense of optimism, connection and engagement for each member of our early learning setting, will enable both children and myself, to provide a positive attitude towards teaching and learning.

Taylor is located in Gledswood Hills, close to Oran Park, Emerald Hills and Gregory Hills.

Lama

Location: Harrington Grove

Lama has more than 20 years experience working with children, and has experience working in Long Care and Family Day care.

Lama is Diploma qualified and holds a current working with children check and first aid qualifications. Lama has completed child protection training and food safety training.

Sarmin has been working in the child care industry for a few years now and during that time she has completed her Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care. Sarmin has also completed her Masters in Psychology.

Sarmin has joined the My Home Your Home Family Day Care team bringing a wealth of knowledge whilst providing her the opportunity to care for her own children and helping other families in her local community.

Sarmin is located in Macquarie Fields, Close to Glenfield, Ingleburn and Minto.

Katrina

Katrina has been working in the Family Day Care industry for over 8 years and during that time has been fortunate enough to raise her own 4 children. Katrina brings a wealth knowledge to My Home Your Home Family Day Care and we are glad to have her as a part of our team.

Katrina is located in Mount Annan, Close to Camden, Narellan and Currans Hill.

Sharmin

Sharmin has been working in Early Childhood for many years now and has recently completed her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Sharmin is now looking forward to joining our team which will allow her to not only help families in the local area, but she will be able to care for her own children at home as well.

Karen has many years working in the childcare industry and her experience ranges from working as a Teachers Aide in primary schools, Long Day Care Centres and Family Day Care. Karen has completed various short courses in Child Protection, Autism and holds a current first aid certificate. 

"Teaching is my passion. Children need the assurance of being loved and cared for while they are enjoying an educational environment. 

I understand that children learn through play and I will endeavour to provide the opportunities for each of the children to explore, discover, create and imagine.

Kylie

"It is my aim to focus on each individual child’s needs through interactive play and age appropriate learning experiences. I will do this by supporting each child’s strengths and potential in a friendly learning environment.

Each child needs to feel a sense of belonging in their environment regardless of cultural background, intellect, disability or social circumstance.

Casandra has over 15 years experience working in the early childhood industry. Casandra's experience also includes Long Day Care services and most recently Family Day Care. In her spare time Casandra is a volunteer with Woonona Netball Club and also Bellambi Surf Life Saving Club. Casandra has also completed a shout course in sign language.

Casandra is located in Bellambi, close to Corrimal, Russell Vale and Woonona.

Carola

Carola has been in the Early Childhood Industry since 2016 and during that time has completed her Certificate 3 in Children's Services. Carola holds a current Working with Children Check and current first aid qualifications.

Sally Barnes

Sally has been working in the Family Day Care industry for many years now after raising four children of her own and joined My Home Your Home Family Day Care in September 2016.​​

I provide a comprehensive, integrated service including care, education, health and safety which work to foster all aspects of children's development - physical, social, emotional, intellectual and moral, and to provide support for families and all who care for young children."

Cristy

Cristy has worked in the industry for many years starting off her career in Long day Care. During this time Cristy worked her way up to become the Director of the service she worked for. Cristy made the switch to Family Day Care some time ago as it gives her the flexibility to raise her own family whilst continuing to care for and educate children.

"It is my belief that by providing a tailored program identifying targeted experiences through play, experiments, exercise, everyday practices and routines children will love to learn and develop new skills whilst growing to care for themselves, others, animals, community and the environment around them".

Bel's Family Day Care is a purpose built daycare which still has the home like environment. Belinda is Diploma trained with many years experience in Long Day Care and well as Family Day Care.

Melissa

Sarah has been an educator in Family Day Care for 8 years and has her diploma in Children's Services.

I believe each child is a unique individual and should be respected as such. I believe each child develops at their own pace, and I plan my program based on the children's interests and from observing their needs in development.

I aim to provide a welcoming, nurturing, engaging and stimulating environment which provides each child the opportunity to learn, play and grow. I understand how important my role as an educator is in the first 5 years of children's lives, and do not take this for granted.

Sarah is located in the suburb Lake Illawarra, and is close for families in Warrawong, Warilla, Barrack Heights, and Mount Warrigal.

Peta has been in the childcare industry for some time (Long Day Care) but decided to become a Family Day Care Educator as she could see the benefits of caring for small groups of children and also the flexibility it gives her with her own children. Peta is Diploma trained and holds a current First Aid Qualification and Child Protection Qualification.

"I firmly believe that all children learn and grow through play, through discussion and general interactions with their peers, educators and surroundings. It is my mission to enable this to happen whilst being guided by the Early Years Learning Framework".

Peta is located in Towradgi: Close to Corrimal, North Wollongong and Bellambi.
