Our Coordination Team completed the 'Confine Small Emergencies In A Facility' fire safety training course. This course is all about equipping participants with the essential skills and knowledge to handle emergency situations. We covered everything from preparing for emergencies and assessing risks, to safely confining small incidents, using initial response equipment, and reporting effectively on emergency responses.

One of the highlights of the day was getting some hands-on experience using different types of fire extinguishers to put out an actual fire! It was a valuable and eye-opening exercise that really helped boost our confidence in handling emergency situations.

The course was led by Ryan Clarkstone from Emertrix. With his background as an experienced firefighter, Ryan brought real-life insights and practical expertise to the training, making it both engaging and informative.

We had a fantastic morning, and we’re excited to pass on what we’ve learned to our educators to help them keep their premises safe and prepared for any emergency.
